| For 40 years I’ve been lucky enough to live right under the beautiful
Colorado Rockies. I left OU after two years when I married Don Peters. By the time I was 25, we had three
children: Van, Vicki, and Valerie. Today I have four great-grandchildren with three more on the way! Since Don died in 1990, I have continued to live in the Denver area. Van and his family are in Tulsa, Vicki (who is the wife of a college president) is in Texas, and recently Valerie and her husband moved to the downtown area of Denver from Oregon. I have lived with the auto-immune disorder Scleroderma for nearly 40 years and along with fibromyalgia and several other conditions that accompany this disease, I have full time health concerns. It’s good Valerie now works in the emergency room of a local hospital—I’ll know someone when the ambulance pulls up there! I worked many years as receptionist and front office manager in the dental field – 15 years with the last firm, retiring along with the dentist. My traveling these days is fairly limited and I don’t like airports at all. But I am a good correspondent and telephone friend and I truly enjoy reading about all my LONG TIME (better word than OLD) friends. Best wishes, good health, and happiness to all! |
