Notes Then Now
I may win the prize for having lived the most places: 17 cities, not including college towns. Actually I was born in London, England, went to preschool in Oxford and then moved to Canada and went to school in Montreal--all before entering first grade. My father was a Greek Orthodox priest and our family moved to the United States in 1945 and few of our home cities were Worcester (Massachusetts) Jackson Heights (Long Island, NY) Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Oakland, and I graduated from Northwest Classen high school in Oklahoma City in 1956 -- which is the connection I have with some of the "Friends" in this group. Last fall, my husband, Paul, and I celebrated our 40th anniversary. Paul is a semi-retired Judge and mediator. I worked in education, media, and my church. Our two children, both of whom are attorneys, have provided us with four fabulous grandsons. I have just returned from babysitting two of them in Connecticut. Besides grandchildren, I enjoy book club, travel, playing bridge and art.
I've seen several of you who have been in the Washington DC area and invite anyone who ventures this way to let me know. And remember, "Friends are the main entrée in the banquet of life." Jeanette (Arlington, Virginia. Phone 703-237-7576 or cell 703 899 756.)
