Jim and I have 5 children--one girl and four boys, scattered around the world ....California, Chicago, Bonn Germany, and Singapore. So as you can imagine, we travel a lot. The Singapore kids are our youngest and his wife. They have been there since July (she got her PhD in May and is teaching at the university there for a 3 year stint). We saw them when they visited California for Thanksgiving but we haven't been to Singapore yet. We’ve been to Bonn and Germany numerous times. Beautiful country! We have 4 grandchildren. The oldest is only 9, so you can see we will never catch up with Joyce Peter’s great-grandchildren record! We're active in our parish church, Jim (retired) is still on some community service boards--inner city home revitalization for a neighboring city, the planning commission for our city government, and a bank board of directors, so he stays busy and keeps up with what's going on businesswise. I help with a pro-life crisis pregnancy clinic and hand out food in the Catholic Charities food pantry in the same neighboring city each week.
